Port of Grays Harbor names Alissa Shay Deputy Director

Aberdeen, WA – Satsop Business Park General Manager Alissa Shay has been named the new Deputy Director of the Port of Grays Harbor. Since 2013, Ms. Shay has been responsible for the operations and business development at the Satsop Business Park, attracting over 15 new tenants totaling over 350,000 SF of industrial space and generating more than 350 jobs.
Ms. Shay holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Evergreen State College, a Bachelor’s in Planning and Environmental Policy from Western Washington University and a Port Professional Manager Certification from the American Association of Port Authorities. Along with overseeing the Operations of the Satsop Business Park and Friends Landing, she will also now oversee the Industrial Property Division and the Marine Terminal Division.

Founded in 1911, the Port of Grays Harbor is one of Washington State’s oldest port districts and Washington’s only deep-water port located directly on the Pacific Ocean.
