Port facility updates: Westport Marina boat launch open; port offices remain closed to the public

Port of Grays Harbor Main Office

The Port of Grays Harbor’s main office remains closed to the public. Essential daily operations continue with staff working remotely when possible. Port staff can be reached at 360-533-9528 or info@portgrays.org.

Westport Marina

With the recent Phase 2 designation for Grays Harbor and WDFW's decision to open recreational fishing in area 2 the boat launch, Fisherman’s Boardwalk and the Centennial Viewing Tower are all now open at the Westport Marina.

The Westport Marina office, located at 326 Lamb Street in Westport, is planning to the public on Monday, June 1st with limited access and face masks encouraged. Staff remains available via email marina@portgrays.org and via phone (360) 533-9562 until then.

Reservations for the recreational fishing season are now being accepted at portgraysharbor.com or by contacting the Westport Marina office directly.

Satsop Business Park

The Satsop Business Park’s office remains closed to the public. Satsop staff continues to conduct

essential business on and off site and can be reached at business@portgrays.org or (360) 482-1600.

Friends Landing

Friends Landing is preparing to open for camping no later than June 1, 2020, with modifications. No cash will be accepted and the caretaker window will remain closed. The picnic shelters will also open for reservations, with limited group sizes and public restrooms facilities will re-open as well. Friends Landing’s playground will remain closed.

Friends Landing is open for day-use; however, park users are strongly urged to maintain social distancing and avoid gathering in groups. Reservations for future camping stays beginning June 1, 2020, can be taken over the phone (360) 861-8864 or online at www.friendslanding.org. 28th Street Boat Launch and Viewing Tower

The 28th Street Boat Launch and Viewing Tower are open but users are asked to practice social distancing and refrain from gathering in groups. The restroom at 28th Street Boat Launch and Viewing Tower remains closed.
