January 2016 - The Port of Grays Harbor, along with the Grays Harbor Council of Governments, invites the public to provide comment on the draft Port of Grays Harbor Recreational Lands and Facilities Plan. The draft Plan is available for review and comment until February 4, 2016.
October 2015 - The Satsop Business Park could soon be home to a $3 million compressed natural gas (CNG) facility as the Port of Grays Harbor Commissioners approved a ten-year lease for 4.3 acres with Xpress Natural Gas, LLC (XNG) at their Commission meeting on Tuesday.
August 2015 - On Wednesday, Port officials and community leaders welcomed U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell as she promoted the Developing a Reliable and Innovative Vision for the Economy (DRIVE) Act, the long term transportation funding bill that passed the Senate on July 30th.

May 2015 - Port of Grays Harbor Commissioners and staff celebrated a pivotal milestone with the signing of the Project Partnership Agreement (PPA) for the Grays Harbor Navigation Improvement Project on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District Headquarters.

Economic impact of the Port of Grays Harbor analyzed: Over 5,700 jobs and $564 million in business revenue generated
October 2014 - Activities of the Port of Grays Harbor’s marine terminals, marina, airport and industrial properties generated over 5,700 jobs and $564 million in business revenues according to a study conducted by Martin Associates based on 2013 data.
July 2014 – While Quinault tribal fishermen have long used the moorage facilities at Washington’s largest fish landing port, Westport Marina, it is now home to one of Quinault Tribal Enterprises’ (QTE) newly acquired upland facilities, RPMM, LLC. The Port of Grays Harbor Commissioners approved the transfer of ownership as it related to a condition of the lease between tenant RPMM and the Port. This is the first upland lease between QTE and the Port.
US Army Corps of Engineers releases final supplemental EIS for Grays Harbor Navigation Improvement Project
July 2014 - A supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Grays Harbor Navigation Improvement Project (GHNIP) will be available for review and comment July 11th - August 11th, 2014.
June 2014 - The Port of Grays Harbor is once again pleased to announce that it will be offering public tours of its industrial properties and marine terminals, as well as walking tours of the Satsop Business Park.
June 2014 - The Port of Grays Harbor Commission approved the lease assignment of Westport Shipyard, Inc. to new owners Westport, LLC, an ownership group that includes members of the Louisiana-based Chouest family.

December 2013 – Brusco Tug & Barge, the ship-assist service provider at the Port of Grays Harbor, docked the Wynema Spirit in Hoquiam this week. The Wynema Spirit is a 78’ x 31’ ship-assist tug featuring twin Detroit Diesel 1,800 horsepower engines and Ulstein Z-drives. Commonly referred to as a tractor tug, it is one of the most powerful tugboats of its size on the West Coast.
December 2013 - The next step for the Port of Grays Harbor in acquiring the assets of former Satsop Business Park tenant NewWood Corporation was achieved on Monday when Superior Court Judge Gordon Godfrey approved the sale of the company’s manufacturing assets in the amount of $1.3 million.
