Randy Lewis selected as new
Director of Environmental and Engineering Services
February 2015 - The Port of Grays Harbor is pleased to announce Randy Lewis will be joining the senior management team as the new Director of Environmental and Engineering Services.
As the City Administrator for the City of Westport over the past 16 years, Randy has overseen and managed all of the city’s departments while also serving as the Public Works Director, SEPA Official, and Shorelines Administrator. Prior to working for the City, Randy retired from a successful career with the US Coast Guard.
“We are confident Randy’s experience at the City of Westport will allow him to hit the ground running in his new position with the Port” said Executive Director Gary Nelson. “Our experience in working with Randy at the City has always been positive and productive. He will be a great addition to the Port and his experience will be an asset to the management team.”
In his new position as the Director of Environmental and Engineering Services, Mr. Lewis will be responsible for the Port’s environmental assessment and compliance efforts, overseeing facility and infrastructure planning and improvement projects, and collaborating with Port staff and customers on development plans. The position has been vacant since the beginning of the year due to a retirement.
Mr. Lewis will begin his position with the Port on March 16th.
